Integrating the Fragmented Self: A Role-Based Framework for Clinical Practice has been approved by the National Association of Social Workers – Virginia Chapter for 7.0 Continuing Education Hours to be held in person on August 7, 2026. Our approval code is 26AUG07SDR.
This training introduces Self-Triangulation Theory, a role-based clinical framework for understanding the impact of attachment experiences, chronic stress, and resilience-building experiences on personality development and functioning. Participants will learn how internalized roles influence emotional regulation, interpersonal relationships, self-concept, and behavioral responses to stress.
Drawing from role theory, attachment theory, structural dissociation, interpersonal neurobiology, and contemporary trauma treatment approaches, Self-Triangulation Theory provides clinicians with a practical framework for conceptualizing client presentations and identifying pathways toward greater integration and adaptive functioning.
