Leen is an EMDR practitioner who provides therapy across the lifespan. Their clinical practice is trauma-informed and attachment-based. They use an integrated approach rooted in the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model and somatic-informed practices. Leen is committed to building a culturally attuned counseling practice with trust and mutual respect at its foundation. Above all else, they meet clients with curiosity and compassion, and create an affirming environment for exploration. Leen’s clinical specialties include complex trauma, eating disorders, LGBTQ+ issues, and identity exploration. 

 

Leen completed their undergraduate degree at Georgetown University. They hold a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from George Washington University and a master's degree in medical science from Boston University. In 2022, they completed their Level 1 training in Internal Family Systems. Currently they are finishing their IFS Level 2 training and supporting Level 1 trainings as a program assistant. Leen is also trained in EMDR. 

 

In their spare time, Leen enjoys making art, spending time in nature, and attending concerts.
