Leen is an Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR practitioner in Henrico, VA who provides trauma therapy to adults. Their clinical practice is somatically-informed and attachment-based. Leen's work supports clients in addressing their trauma without feeling pathologized, increase self-compassion without emotional bypassing, and reprocessing trauma while feeling safe and empowered.

Leen is committed to building a culturally attuned counseling practice with trust and mutual respect at its foundation. Above all else, they meet clients with curiosity and compassion, and create an affirming environment for exploration. Leen’s clinical specialties include complex trauma, eating disorders, LGBTQ+ issues, and identity exploration.
Leen completed their undergraduate degree at Georgetown University. They hold a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from George Washington University and a master's degree in medical science from Boston University. In 2022, they completed their Level 1 and Level 2 trainings in Internal Family Systems. Currently, they are supporting Level 1 trainings as a program assistant. Leen is also trained in EMDR, including various protocols that draw from Somatic Experiencing and Brainspotting.
In their spare time, Leen enjoys making art, spending time in nature, and attending concerts.
