There's still that sneaky suspicion that you're somehow innately broken.

4

You love your therapist, but don't feel like you're making progress.

How Therapy Intensives transcend the plateaus...

Extended Time

The extended structure of a Therapy Intensive provides a formulaic timeline for the clinical process.

A Therapy Intensive is broken down into 3 phases: 1) Prep Individuals engage in a full check-in without feeling rushed to "get to the work." 2) Procedure From the check-in, patterns emerge that gently leads into the emotional reprocessing that will be the therapeutic focus of the session.  3) Post-Op Instead of feeling rushed to close the emotional wound, a Therapy Intensive allows ample time to re-center the nervous system prior to wrapping up.

2

Clinical Intention

A Therapy Intensive isn't long for the sake of being long.

Our practitioners follow carefully the 3 stages of trauma treatment: 1) Stabilization 2) Reprocessing 3) Integration By valuing the deep work in the Stabilization phase of connecting to internal strengths, our clients move more quickly through the Reprocessing stage. Other Therapy Intensives often use the extended time to bulldoze into trauma reprocessing, which creates feel-good-catharsis, but unfortunately, this tends to be dissociative in nature, and therefore creates no sustainable changes.

Expedited Results

With a Therapy Intensive, we can make more progress within a shorter therapeutic lifespan, compared to the

traditional 50-minute talk therapy model. What would you do with your energy once it's no longer spent combating trauma symptoms? Here's what some of our clients have done: Take the risk of being their whole self in relationships, only to find out how truly likable they are Experience joy, connectedness, and being present in significant relationships  Pursue their dream career, receive promotions, and are recognized at work   Exercise their "No!" without feeling responsible for other people's feelings Harvest a sense of identify deeper than their current roles in life

"The approach at Seeking Depth feels different, less about a narrative discussion of issues or challenges - the clinician is able to shift the talk dynamic toward the associated sensory or emotional experience - its been an opportunity to sit with feelings - perhaps those I avoided or failed to recognize…"

Who is impacted by your legacy of trauma?

Our team of trauma experts know how energetically consuming it is to tend to a barrage of trauma symptoms - it can be like caretaking for an invisible child just to get out of bed, anticipate anxiety triggers, obsess over perfection, or worry about all the things that could go wrong.
